The Cape Ann Museum half a block from Julietta House at 27 Pleasant Street which has an Emma Fordyce MacRae Pigeon Cove in its collection of items relating to the fishing industry as well as the Fitz Henry Lane paintings from the 19th century on the first floor together with a collection of fine furniture and china and other contemporary painters. Fitz Henry Lane Family and Friends written by Sarah Dunlap and Stephanie Buck is full of information and the catalogue of the Emma Fordyce MacRae exhibition held at the Museum is found in the library downstairs.

Another day it may be fun to take the train into Boston to visit the Museum of Fine Arts. There are two figure paintings by Emma Fordyce MacRae in their collection but not on display. The paintings are called "Beatrice" and "Ruth Goldfarb With Green Fascinator".
